How to find the best fit for your pup

COLLARS:

Firstly, measure your dogs neck and allow two finger widths under the collar. The easiest way to measure is to use a sewing/tailor tape. However, if you do not have this type of measuring tape, you could also use your pups old collar or some string to wrap around their neck and measure that length with a ruler or tape measure.

You can then use that measurement with our sizing guide below or in the product description to find the best fit for your pups cute new collar.

If you find that your pups measurement falls between two sizing categories, think about if you would like the collar to be able to adjust bigger or smaller and take into consideration the width of the collar. If your pup is still growing or you think it may be a little tight, we would suggest opting for the larger size.

Collars come in 4 sizes:

XS – 20cm-33cm (1cm width)

S – 27cm-41cm (1.5cm width)

M – 36cm-59cm (2cm width)

L – 41cm-72cm (2.5cm width)

 

CAT COLLARS:

We now also offer cat collars. These are available in one size and are very adjustable to get the perfect fit for your feline friend. Cat collars are made with a plastic quick release buckle.

Cat - 20cm-33cm (1cm width)

 

MARTINGALE COLLARS:

Our martingale collars come in two sizes:

S/M - 28cm-37cm (4cm width)

M/L - 37cm-55cm (4cm width)

To fit, measure your dogs neck size at the point where the collar would sit, also measure around your dogs head at the largest point. Take the larger of these two measurements and add 3cm to it to determine which size collar is needed. Keep in mind the martingale collars do not have a buckle so need to be able to slide over the dogs head comfortably so be sure to use the larger of the two measurements taken.

Martingale collars are designed for dog breeds with longer necks and smaller heads (greyhounds, whippets, etc.) in mind to help prevent them from slipping out of their collars. They can however be worn by most other breeds too but we do not recommend for smaller dogs with shorter necks due to the width of the collar.

The martingale collar consists of two loops, one larger loop which should slide on comfortably over the dogs head, and one smaller loop which when attached to a leash will safely tighten and loosen as the dog pulls and relaxes.

LEASHES:

All standard leashes are 120cm long (2cm width) from top of handle to clip end.

We now also sell 150cm long (2cm width) leashes.

BOW TIES AND SAILORS BOWS:

Bows sizes correspond with collar sizing (XS/S bow will fit XS, S or cat collar, M bow will fit M collar, L bow will fit L collar). All bows are made to order and therefore do not accept returns due to incorrect sizing.

Bow Ties come in 3 sizes:

XS/S – 7cm x 4cm

M – 9.5cm x 5cm

L – 12cm x 6.5cm

Sailors Bows come in 3 sizes:

XS/S – 7.5cm x 8cm

M – 10.5cm x 10.5cm

L – 14.5cm x 13.5cm

BANDANAS:

For easy fit, bandana sizes align with our collar sizes (XS bandana will fit XS or cat collar, S bandana will fit S collar, M bandana will fit M collar, L and XL bandana will fit L collar). We have also have a guide below on which breeds would best fit our bandana sizes (please note this is an estimate as individual dog sizes will vary).

We recommend that for the best fit, measure the length of your pups collar and select the bandana width that is smaller than the collar length. All bandanas are made to order and therefore do not accept returns due to incorrect sizing.

Bandanas come in 5 sizes:

XS - 15cm W x 10cm L (Suitable for dogs 20cm-30cm tall, eg: Chihuahuas, Yorkshires, Pomeranians, teacup/toy dog breeds, small puppies, cats etc.)

S - 20cm W x 13cm L (Suitable for dogs 30cm-45cm tall, eg: Jack Russells, Shih Tzus, Maltese, Dachshunds, Terriers, Pugs, etc.)

M - 25cm W x 17cm L (Suitable for dogs 45cm-65cm tall, eg: Beagles, Cocker Spaniels, Chow Chows, Poodles, Border Collies, Kelpies, etc.)

L - 30cm W x 20cm L (Suitable for dogs 65cm-80cm tall, eg: Labradors, Golden Retrievers, German Shepards, Huskies, Dalmations, etc.)

XL - 35cm W x 23cm L (Suitable for dogs 80cm+ tall, eg: Great Danes, Saint Bernards, Bloodhounds, Mastiffs, Pointers, Wolfhounds, etc.)
